Upmesh Chat Management is a user-friendly chat system that lets you communicate directly with your buyers through the Upmesh Dashboard. Here's a simple guide to help you.
General rules for Custom Inbox
Click "Check This Out": Activate the Checkout reminder feature to notify messages from buyers. They need to click "Check This Out" first.
Initiate Interaction: Buyers must send you a message first to start receiving messages from you.
24-Hour Rule: You can't send messages if buyers haven't interacted within 24 hours. Check Facebook's messaging policy for more details.
Sync Facebook Page: Ensure your Facebook page is synced with the Upmesh dashboard for the chat function to work.
Limited Availability: Chat Management is only available for orders generated from comments, not for manually created carts or orders from the catalog.
Message Limit: Store up to 1000 messages per merchant/buyer.
Text Messages Only: Currently, only text messages are supported; image sending is not available yet.
Can only send text messages, not available for image yet.
There are 3 ways to access Chat Management:
From Message Center
From Pending Orders
From Paid Orders
From Message Center you can go to Chat Management
Step 1
Go to the Message Center and select Chat Management.
Step 2
Search the buyer's Facebook name, select the buyer name to start the chat, and interact with the buyer.

Go to Pending Orders and hover over the Buyer Name Column

Click the "Blue Chat" icon to initiate a chat.
From Paid Orders on Buyer Name Column

Go to Paid Orders and hover over the Buyer Name Column

Click the "Blue Chat" icon to initiate a chat.
The chat box will pop up and you can message your buyer after they have initiated the first interaction with you (by clicking the “Check This Out” button or sending a message to you).
If you expand the chat box, you will be directed to the “Chat Management” page.
Switch between Facebook Page and Instagram Account
If you are connected to Facebook and Instagram on Upmesh dashboard, you can switch between Facebook and Instagram messenger by clicking the dropdown at the “Account Box '' and selecting the account to interact with buyers.
